阿的江，1967年8月21日出生于新疆維吾爾自治區和田縣。球員時代曾是中國男籃主力控衛，退役后先后執教八一、新疆和寧波男籃，在今年夏天他離開了寧波男籃。
阿的江在國家隊效力9年，和隊員們共同創造了中國男籃的歷史——首次進入世界前八；在擔任八一男籃主力后衛期間，球隊蟬聯CBA六連冠，締造八一男籃的黃金時代。退役后阿的江任職八一男籃主教練14年，獲CBA聯賽兩次冠軍、三次亞軍及全運會冠軍。
